Irregular idle (hi-lo), unintended acceleration at Idle with brake applied, surging with cruise control, no TC lockup, no coast clutch engagement, hang shifts, extremely hard (sound like something broke) up shifts, hi ICP, two sets of inj Orings, one hpop hose, very heavy smoke output couldn't touch throttle without fogging out 3 lanes of traffic, turbo lag while under boost ect. Budgets range from 1,500 to 10,000 for each International mill and include reasonably priced parts. Had this adjusted out a couple of times both sometimes on reburns you got it right back. 1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Well I was wrong about my DP Tuner - Over the weekend I purchased another chip(I wont say the name to bash on them ). Well begin with 94 to 97 7.3L Power Strokes and progress through to 7.3L Super Duty engines. Extremely sensitive throttle( first 1/8" was 0-100%). Then you add up the shipping both ways plus addition charges for adjusting for mods. But everytime came with a new mass of issues. I probably have the most expensive F5chip sitting on the shelve anyone has ever seen. There was only one time they were remotely close to me for live tuning and it was canceled shortly before. They were too far for me to drive and out of the 7 years of owning the chip. If you are truely wanting to run DP tunes. My advice to you would be to get a chip that can be updated by USB, Wifi or do live tuning from the start.
